Dear Readers,
It’s February the 14th the day that singletons dread right, or wrong? If you are single or happily married it’s hard to escape the valentines virus, it’s everywhere you look, even Pret a Manager had a heart in their window today, what is sexy or romantic about a tuna sandwich?
So I wanted to write this blog mainly to all my single followers, I know this day can suck for singletons, it feels like the most depressing day ever, especially when coffee shops, clothes and bloody flower shops seem to brandish a heart on their window and seem to be ramming it down your throat. But I want to ask you, do you think it would be any different if you had a man? No. You would be buying overpriced cards and gifts and doing some overpriced valentines activity. You would still be wishing for a the fantasy man that doesn’t exist to sweep you off your imaginary Manolo Blahnik’s, so single ladies, I ask you on this day to spend some money on yourself, treat yourself to anything you want and to be in a relationship with yourself and love yourself!
Because today it is going to rock to be a single lady.
